Rudi Margono Appointed Acting Jampidsus, Replacing Febrie Adriansyah

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has appointed Rudi Margono as the acting Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). The decision was made after the Attorney General accepted the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah from the post. Previously, Rudi Margono served as the Deputy Attorney General for Oversight. He will now carry out the duties as acting Jampidsus. The appointment was made based on Attorney General’s Order Number PRINT-76/A/JA/07/2026 to ensure the continuity of duties, functions, and authority within the Jampidsus until a definitive official is appointed. Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stressed that the leadership change would not affect law enforcement processes. ‘All handling of special crime cases continues to proceed professionally, independently, and in accordance with statutory provisions,’ Anang said in a statement on Saturday (11/7/2026).
