MELBOURNE, Australia (AP): RTZ-CRA is assessing the viability
of a possible 6 million ounce gold resource in the Philippines to
decide whether to develop it in conjunction with the local entail
of joining the United Paragon Mining Corp. in a joint venture to
develop the Malaguit gold mine in its Camarines Norte province.

UPMC has said the resource at Malaguit is 6 es," the RTZ-CRA
spokesman said.

Three other companies are reported to also be looking at the
project.

They are Canada's Placer Dome unit Placer Pacific Exploration
Philippines Inc.; International Pursuit Philippines Inc.; and
Mineralindo Rejeki Alam of Indonesia.
