RTM targets 40 percent growth

Information technology solutions provider RTM Group has targeted to post revenue of US$30 million this year, an increase of 40 percent from that of last year.

RTM Group Director Lasman Citra said on Saturday that demands for IT infrastructure, applications and solutions have continued to rise despite the fact that the economy is slowing down.

He said RTM -- one of the five major IT solution providers in Indonesia -- managed to grow by more than 100 percent last year.

This year, the company, through its subsidiary PT RTM Global Solution, has signed deals with 50 industrial firms and retailers to set up IT solutions for enterprise resource planning (ERP) and resource management.

Lasma said that the company would continue its Asia Pacific expansion this year, by investing $1 million in East Timor and Bangladesh. Most of these foreign investments are concerned with implementing e-government solutions. --JP
