RSUD Koja Holds Kultura Market to Elevate Local Products
Koja Regional Hospital (RSUD) in North Jakarta is holding the Kultura Market, involving micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) players to help local products move up a class through the bazaar.
“We are holding the RSUD Koja Bazaar, or Kultura Market, in celebration of RSUD Koja’s 74th anniversary and the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia,” said RSUD Koja Director Alifianti Lestari in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The Kultura Market runs for four days to provide a wider opportunity for staff, patients and patients’ families to enjoy and shop for the various local products on offer.
Alifianti explained that the Kultura Market serves as a meeting space for a range of creative products, culinary items, handicrafts and flagship products developed by assisted MSMEs with potential buyers.
The activity is the result of collaboration between RSUD Koja and the North Jakarta City Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency (KPKP).
“We are carrying the spirit of collaboration and pride in local products, held at the Main Lobby Plaza of RSUD Koja, Koja District, North Jakarta, from 11 to 14 August 2026,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Agriculture Division of the Jakarta Provincial Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Agency (KPKP), Iwan Indriyanto, accompanied by the Head of the North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, Novy Christine Palit, assessed that the Kultura Market is part of a collaborative space to introduce and expand the marketing of local products.
According to Iwan, the Kultura Market is not only a place for buying and selling transactions, but also a means of education about local products having quality and competitiveness that are no less than products from other regions or abroad.
“This Kultura Market has been running for a long time and collaborates with SKPD and UKPD. The activity is very much identified with local culture while also serving as a marketing platform for assisted products in North Jakarta,” he explained.
Iwan expressed hope that MSME and creative economy players will continue to innovate, maintain quality and increase the appeal of their products so they can reach a wider market.
In this edition of the Kultura Market, 34 Jakpreneurs assisted by the North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, two food BUMDs, and RSUD Koja are participating.
Meanwhile, the Head of the North Jakarta Health Sub-agency, Murniasi Hutapea, assessed that the activity is not merely a bazaar, but a strategic platform that brings together the richness of local culture with the creative economy dynamism of the community.
She said the various products displayed at the Kultura Market show that Indonesia’s cultural heritage, from Nusantara textiles and handicrafts to traditional culinary delights, can continue to develop and appear modern without losing its identity.
“Make the most of this Kultura Market momentum to improve the quality and aesthetics of product packaging, expand market networks and collaboration between communities, and optimise digitalisation in transactions and promotion,” said Murniasi.
