RSU Harapan Keluarga Celebrates 10th Anniversary, Inaugurated as Indonesia's First 'Worship-Friendly Hospital'
Rumah Sakit Umum Harapan Keluarga (RSU Harkel) celebrated its 10th anniversary on Sunday (5/7/2026) with a series of events including a Tahfidzul Qur’an and Iqro graduation ceremony for employees and clinical partner staff. The event also featured the inauguration of a new Emergency Department (UGD) building, the hospital’s recognition as the first ‘Rumah Sakit Ramah Ibadah Muslim Indonesia’ (Indonesian Muslim Worship-Friendly Hospital), and the presentation of Umrah awards to hospital staff.
In his remarks, PT Harapan Keluarga Director Hamzah Aonillah expressed gratitude for reaching the one-decade milestone. ‘A decade of serving with heart is a precious journey full of dedication, made possible by the grace of Allah SWT and the strong commitment of the entire hospital community,’ Hamzah stated in a written release on Tuesday (7/7/2026). He also extended his highest appreciation to all partners, the community, and the extended Harkel family for their unwavering presence, support, and prayers.
The welcoming session was conducted in a relaxed and warm atmosphere, featuring a ‘duet’ concept between the PT Director and RSU Director Dr. Tri Ermin Fadlina, M.Kes, affectionately known as Dr. Mimin. She added that the trust and synergy provided by stakeholders are the primary energy that has allowed RSU Harkel to grow to this day.
Dr. Mimin noted that the 10th anniversary was made even more special by the 4th Tahfidz and Iqro Graduation Ceremony (1448 H), part of the hospital’s Qur’anic development programme for all employees. ‘Concurrently, we are inaugurating the new Emergency Department building and cementing a historic milestone for RSU Harapan Keluarga as the first Worship-Friendly Hospital in Indonesia, committed to maintaining the harmony between medical efforts and patients’ spiritual well-being. May RSU Harapan Keluarga continue to grow as a health pillar that not only strives for patient safety in this world through medical service quality, but also for patient safety in the hereafter,’ said Mimin.
The award was conferred by Dr. Dadang Rukanta, Sp.OT, M.Kes, representing the Central Board of the Indonesian Islamic Health Effort Assembly (MUKISI). He congratulated RSU Harapan Keluarga on becoming the first worship-friendly certified hospital in Indonesia, and indeed the world.
