RSBP Batam Provides Optimal Service for JKN Participants via iSTEMI
Batam (ANTARA) - The Batam Business Entity Hospital (RSBP) in the Riau Islands (Kepri) is providing optimal services for National Health Insurance (JKN) participants through the iSTEMI programme in its emergency department (IGD).
RSBP Batam Director dr Tanto Budiarto stated in Batam on Thursday that iSTEMI is a service for handling cardiovascular emergencies (heart attacks) covered by the JKN programme.
“When there is a report of a patient suspected of having an acute heart attack, our team will immediately move to conduct an assessment and medical procedures as indicated, including taking the patient to the Cath Lab if necessary,” he said.
He added that RSBP Batam has complete facilities and medical personnel who are always on standby to handle such emergency cases.
“If a dangerous blockage in the blood vessels is found, a heart ring (stent) insertion procedure can be performed immediately,” he stated.
RSBP Batam also ensures that all supporting services remain operational 24 hours a day to support the treatment of JKN participants requiring immediate care.
“All our hospital services run 24 hours. So it is not just the emergency room, but doctors, nurses, the laboratory, radiology, and even the pharmacy are ready to serve patients whenever needed,” he said.
With comprehensive facilities and a rapid response system, RSBP Batam strives to ensure that JKN participants experiencing emergency conditions receive fast, precise, and medically appropriate care, thereby optimising the chances of patient survival.
