RSBP Batam Guarantees Equal Service for All Patients
Rumah Sakit Badan Pengusahaan (RSBP) Batam continues to be committed to improving overall healthcare service quality standards. One of its key measures is guaranteeing equal rights and service quality for all patients, whether they are participants of BPJS Kesehatan or general patients paying independently. This statement was delivered jointly by the Deputy for Public Services of BP Batam, Ariastuti, and the Assistant Manager for Marketing, Legal, and Business Development of RSBP Batam, Sudirman. “We firmly emphasise: there is no differentiation in the quality of medical treatment between patients using BPJS insurance and general patients. From the moment of registration, doctor’s examination, diagnosis determination, necessary medical procedures, provision of medication according to the National Formulary standards, to the attitude and attention of healthcare workers, everything is served with exactly the same standard,” said Ariastuti on Sunday (12/7). She added that differences in membership status or payment methods must not be a reason to lower the quality of service received by patients. This is in line with the principle of the National Health Insurance that health is a basic right of every citizen. Meanwhile, Sudirman explained that this commitment is also supported by the fulfilment of strict standard operating procedures and continuous internal supervision across all service units of RSBP Batam. “We continuously update our service systems, improve the competence of medical personnel, and maintain the completeness of facilities and medical equipment. The difference in the choice of inpatient class or administrative procedures will not change the quality of medical treatment that is the right of every person seeking treatment here,” Sudirman clarified. He also expressed hope that this measure would eliminate public concerns and build trust that RSBP Batam consistently provides fair, transparent, and high-quality services for everyone.
