Rp480 Billion Investment Enters Central Java, Creating 500 Jobs
PT DKV Printing Indonesia, a Chinese-based company specialising in high-tech printing, has recently entered the Kendal Economic Zone. The high-tech firm has invested Rp480.64 billion and has already employed around 500 workers.
Governor Ahmad Luthfi stated that the arrival of PT DKV Printing Indonesia serves as evidence that Central Java remains a trusted investment destination amidst global geopolitical dynamics. According to Luthfi, PT DKV Printing Indonesia produces various types of labels, packaging, shoe boxes, and printing materials to meet the requirements of several global brands.
The investment is not only capital-intensive but also brings advanced technology and human resource development to Central Java. “The entry of high-tech industries will strengthen the competitiveness of Central Java, while simultaneously driving economic growth and creating more job opportunities for the community,” said Luthfi.
Luthfi explained that labour absorption is a crucial metric for measuring the benefits of investment. The government is not merely pursuing the volume of incoming capital, but also its impact on job creation, the enhancement of workforce competence, technology transfer, and the strengthening of regional industries. “Central Java is one of the provinces that possesses competitiveness regarding both labour and investment in Indonesia,” he clarified.
Furthermore, Luthfi noted that Central Java continues to attract interest from investors across various nations, including Singapore, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, and several other countries. The Central Java Provincial Government will continue to maintain a conducive investment climate through the acceleration of licensing services, the development of supporting infrastructure for industrial zones, legal certainty, and the provision of a competent workforce.
