Rp121 billion from 2026 Aceh budget allocated for disaster recovery

The Secretary of Aceh Provincial Government, M Nasir, stated on Friday (27 February) that the provincial administration will prioritise post-disaster recovery efforts following the natural disaster that occurred in late November 2025. The recovery initiative encompasses infrastructure rehabilitation, restoration of transportation access, and economic recovery of the region.

According to Nasir, the Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed the Aceh Provincial Government to evaluate activities listed in the 2026 Aceh Budget (APBA) and redirect funding towards disaster mitigation and recovery efforts.
