Penajam Paser Utara - The Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) states that investment activities by PT Dian Jaya Indonesia and PT Biru Makmur Abadi, with a total value of Rp1.2 trillion, further strengthen the ecosystem in the IKN area. “This investment cooperation is part of efforts to accelerate the development of commercial projects and supporting facilities in IKN,” said the Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, on Saturday, when asked about the investment in Sepaku, Penajam Paser Utara, which is part of the IKN area. “This investment will further strengthen the area ecosystem in IKN,” he added. According to him, the presence of apartment projects, hotels, sports centres, and restaurants not only adds to the variety of urban facilities in IKN but also strengthens the area ecosystem to be ready as a lively, productive, and inclusive city. The project is planned to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2026 on land of around 33,201 square metres with an estimated investment value of approximately Rp1.15 trillion. Investing in IKN because this area is designed as a modern smart city, according to the Deputy Director of PT Dian Jaya Indonesia, Cheong Seung Hwa, with regulatory certainty and fiscal incentives, the potential for significant property and business value increases in the future. Meanwhile, PT Biru Makmur Abadi is developing sports centre facilities and restaurants in the KIPP 1C area, located around the SMA Taruna Nusantara complex and Gunadarma University. IKN as a strategic long-term investment opportunity, said the Director of PT Biru Makmur Abadi, Abdul Rohman, the smart and green city concept promoted by the government is very relevant to global trends.
