Rp1 public transport fare marks Jakarta's 499th anniversary celebrations

The Jakarta provincial government has implemented a fare of Rp1 for public transport services Transjakarta (BRT, Non-BRT, and Transjabodetabek), MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta on the Velodrome-Pegangsaan Dua route for three days: 22, 27, and 28 June 2026, in conjunction with the 499th anniversary of Jakarta. Passengers were seen waiting for the departure of the LRT Jakarta train at Velodrome Station on Monday (22/6/2026), with some enjoying an ondel-ondel performance before boarding. Officers were also present at the station to assist passengers during the promotional period.
