RP raises $400m via bond sale

MANILA: The Philippines raised US$400 million via an offer of global bonds maturing in 2011 and 2014, the Finance Department said on Tuesday.

The bonds, based on two earlier issues, were sold to yield 8.184 percent and 8.484 percent for the 2011 and 2014 paper, respectively, the department said. -- AFP
