Rp 80b road to be built in Cirebon

CIREBON, West Java: The central government, through state toll
road operator PT Jasa Marga, will build a toll road between
Plumbon and Tegalkarang in Cirebon regency.

The project will cost Rp 80 billion (US$8.5 million),
according to Hardjono Santoso, head of PT Jasa Marga's Palikanci
toll road office in Cirebon regency.

The construction of the toll road is expected to help overcome
traffic congestion along the north coast of Java island,
especially during the annual Idul Fitri exodus. -- JP
