The Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, stated that Rp 5.3 trillion of the OIKN’s indicative budget ceiling of Rp 6.7 trillion in the 2027 Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBN) has been allocated specifically to continue the development of the legislative and judicial complexes.

“Of the Rp 6.7 trillion, that is the first indicative ceiling. But the Rp 5.3 trillion is for continuing the next phase of judicial and legislative development. The remainder is for management,” said Basuki in Penajam Paser Utara on Tuesday.

The OIKN’s indicative ceiling in the 2027 RAPBN Financial Note is recorded as having increased by approximately Rp 400 billion compared to the previous ceiling of Rp 6.3 trillion.

Basuki explained that the size of this allocation is in line with the target for completing a number of key IKN infrastructure projects in 2027.

In addition to new physical construction, the budget also covers the management and maintenance needs of assets that have already been built.

The current infrastructure management needs for IKN amount to approximately Rp 500 billion per year.

“This figure has the potential to increase as more assets are handed over to OIKN from relevant ministries for maintenance,” he said.

For the judicial complex, physical construction is targeted for completion on 25 December 2027. This complex includes the Constitutional Court (MK) building, the Supreme Court (MA), the Judicial Commission (KY), the Justice Plaza, and the Complex Mosque.

Commitment Making Officer (PPK) E.4 of the OIKN Infrastructure Development Working Unit, Sonny Alissa, said that the judicial complex construction progress is targeted to reach 40 percent by the end of this year through accelerated structural work, topping off, and completion of architectural, landscape, and interior works.

Currently, the Supreme Court construction package, with a contract value of Rp 1.4 trillion, has reached 12.5 percent progress after eight months of work.

Meanwhile, the construction package for the Constitutional Court, Judicial Commission, and Complex Mosque has a contract value of Rp 1.65 trillion with progress of 12.41 percent.

Meanwhile, physical construction in the legislative complex, which includes the DPR, MPR, and DPD buildings, the Plenary Session Building, and a number of supporting facilities, is also targeted for completion in December 2027.

PPK E.3 of the OIKN Infrastructure Development Working Unit, Alfrits Steeve Willy Makalew, confirmed that the total contract value of the five work packages for the legislative complex amounts to Rp 8.24 trillion.

The details are as follows: the Plenary Session Building has a contract value of Rp 1.24 trillion with progress of 12.147 percent, the DPR Building 1 is valued at Rp 1.84 trillion with progress of 11.029 percent, and DPR Building 2 is valued at Rp 1.96 trillion with progress of 9.927 percent.
