Rp 11.4 Trillion Boost from PKH Task Force: Purbaya Says It Can Plug the Deficit
The government has obtained an additional revenue of Rp 11.4 trillion from the activities of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH). These funds are considered capable of improving the fiscal position, including closing the budget deficit. The handover of the funds was carried out by the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) to the Ministry of Finance on Friday (10/4/2026) and was witnessed directly by President Prabowo Subianto. Attorney General ST Burhanuddin handed over the funds to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, totalling Rp 11,420,104,815,858, which has entered the state treasury. “We’re getting richer; we have another Rp 11.4 trillion,” said Purbaya at the Attorney General’s Office. He added that the funds can be used for various needs, including continuing development programmes that were previously cut. “We can use it, perhaps mostly for development programmes that were cut yesterday,” he said. In addition, there is Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from handling corruption crimes amounting to Rp 1.96 trillion. The government also received tax deposits for the period January to April 2026 amounting to Rp 967.7 billion, as well as tax deposits from PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara amounting to Rp 108.5 billion. Environmental fines contributed Rp 1.14 trillion. All these funds have been deposited into the state treasury as additional budget financing. “Including for the prosecutor’s office, including schools, later some might also go to LPDP, but not much,” he said. He also emphasised that receipts from Satgas PKH are not yet complete and still have potential to increase in the future. “This isn’t finished yet; there are still many, there will be more in the future,” said Purbaya.
