Royal Dutch army

Royal Dutch army

From Suara Karya

Through this letter I would like to inform the ex-KNIL (Koningklijke Nederlansche Indiesche Leger -- Royal Dutch Indies Army) servicemen that the Dutch Government is considering giving a lump sum of about Rp 7 to 8 million to each ex-member, provided that authentic documents proving one was a KNIL member in 1940 are submitted.

I got this information from Bapak Nusmese who lives in Cawang III, Jl. Dewi Sartika, Gg. Budhi, and Bapak Pieter who lives in Kalibata, South Jakarta.

However, the Dutch Government has not disclosed this matter to the public and will only give the money to a handful of people who happen to be informed of the matter. So you must not waste your time, get the needed documents ready.
