Roy Suryo has announced he has filed a fourth pre-trial motion, this time concerning a travel ban. The statement was made after he attended a hearing for his third pre-trial motion, which involved the presentation of evidence by the respondent, the Metro Jaya Police, at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (3/8).

Speaking to the media after the session, Suryo invited the public to follow the legal process. He stated that the fourth pre-trial motion had been registered and was scheduled to begin on Friday (7/8). “Please come again for the fourth pre-trial. We have registered the fourth pre-trial and the schedule is this Friday at 9 am. What is it about? It’s about the travel ban,” Suryo said. The case has been registered under number 129/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL since Thursday (30/8).

In his third pre-trial motion, Suryo is demanding material and immaterial compensation of Rp206 million from the Metro Jaya Police for an arrest and detention that a previous pre-trial ruling had declared unlawful. During Monday’s session, which was presided over by sole judge I Ketut Darpawan, the police presented a criminal law expert to provide testimony. The judge scheduled the submission of conclusions for the following day, with the verdict in the third pre-trial case set to be read on Thursday (6/8).
