Roy Suryo and Dr Tifa Transferred to Prosecutors This Morning, Here's Their Appearance

Roy Suryo and Dr Tifa, suspects in the case of alleging a fake diploma belonging to 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), were transferred to the South Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari Jaksel) this morning. Here is the appearance of the two suspects before being taken to the prosecutor’s office.

Based on monitoring on Monday (22/6/2026), Roy Suryo was escorted from the Directorate of Detainees and Evidence (Dittahti) of Polda Metro Jaya. Roy Suryo appeared to be wearing batik.

Meanwhile, Dr Tifa appeared to be wearing an orange detainee uniform. Both were then escorted using a car to the prosecutor’s office.

When being taken by the police, Roy Suryo briefly shouted to the residents who were present. Meanwhile, Dr Tifa did not utter a single word when being taken.

“Keep the spirit, freedom!,” shouted Roy Suryo.

Previously, the case files of Roy Suryo and Dr Tifa, suspects in the case of alleging a fake diploma belonging to 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), were to be transferred in stage II today. The suspects and evidence related to Roy Suryo and Dr Tifa will be transferred to the South Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari Jaksel).

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, said Roy and Dr Tifa had been taken to the Polda Metro Jaya detention centre. Roy and Dr Tifa were taken last night.

“The latest update is that suspects Tifa and Roy S will be taken from Kramat Jati Police Hospital tonight and accommodated at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Centre,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, when contacted by reporters on Sunday (21/6).

Budi said investigators were currently still coordinating with the Kramat Jati Police Hospital regarding the transfer of the two suspects to the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Centre. Roy and Dr Tifa, said Budi, will be transferred to the South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office today at 09.00 WIB.

“Furthermore, tomorrow (today) at 09.00 in the morning, they will together depart from Polda to the South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office for stage 2,” he said.
