Routine Treatment Becomes More Peaceful Thanks to JKN Services

The existence of the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme continues to deliver tangible benefits to society. This is directly experienced by Rita Zahara (54), a participant in the independent class two segment who routinely undergoes treatment due to nerve disorders.

Rita reveals that she must periodically undergo examinations and treatments at the hospital. While using services from BPJS Kesehatan, she has experienced a quick and smooth service process.

“The service is quite fast and I am immediately attended to. From registration to examination, everything runs smoothly,” said Rita.

In addition to the speed of service, Rita also appreciates the attitude of the medical personnel, which she considers friendly and professional. She feels she receives clear explanations regarding her health condition, making her more at ease during treatment.

“The doctors and nurses are friendly, their manner of speaking is good, all procedures are explained in detail, so I feel I understand and am more at ease when being treated,” she stated.

Rita also emphasised that during her treatment, she did not feel any difference in treatment compared to other patients. According to her, all JKN participants receive equal services without discrimination.

“Everyone is treated the same and quite well. I do not feel there is any difference even though I am a BPJS Kesehatan participant compared to others,” she explained.

As a JKN participant, Rita feels the presence of this programme provides a sense of security in accessing health services. With the guarantee of funding, she is no longer burdened by concerns about treatment costs.

“With JKN, I can seek treatment peacefully because there is already coverage. This is very helpful for me and my family in getting treatment, so my family and I are no longer afraid to go to the hospital,” she added.

Concluding her statement, Rita hopes that the quality of JKN services can continue to be improved so that its benefits are increasingly felt widely by Indonesian society.

“I hope JKN services continue to be improved and more people feel the benefits. This programme is very important for the health of the Indonesian people,” Rita concluded.
