Rotten fish claims student's life

AMBON, Maluku: An elementary student died and three people
were rushed to the hospital on Thursday morning after eating fish
from Ambon Bay, Maluku.

According to Rina Latuheru, a relative of the victims, the
fish were brought by two on-duty soldiers from a battalion from
North Sumatra's Bukit Barisan Military Command on Wednesday
night. The fish were eaten on Thursday morning.

After eating the fish, Calvin Lewerissa, 10, along with his
younger brother Anjel, and the two servicemen complained of
stomach pains and were rushed to the Dr Latumeten Military
Hospital.

Doctors suspect the fish had gone off. --Antara
