Rosan Summoned to Hambalang, Prabowo Urges Acceleration of Industrial Downstreaming and New Job Creation

JAKARTA, iNewsKarawang.id - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Perkasa Roeslani was summoned by President Prabowo Subianto to his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Friday (24/4/2026). This moment was revealed through a post on Rosan’s Instagram account, @rosanroeslani, showing Prabowo engaged in an intensive discussion with Rosan, who also serves as CEO of the Nusantara Future Investment Management Agency (Danantara), at a work desk. Prabowo was seen wearing his characteristic safari suit, while Rosan wore a cream suit with a blue shirt. According to Rosan, his visit to Hambalang was to receive direct instructions from the Head of State regarding two major agendas: accelerating industrial downstreaming and optimising the role of Danantara. “Thank you, Mr President @prabowo, for the guidance on accelerating downstreaming and strengthening Danantara’s priority programmes, today in Hambalang,” Rosan wrote on his personal Instagram account @rosanroeslani. Rosan added that strengthening these programmes is expected to deliver tangible impacts on Indonesia’s economy, from job creation to enhancing industrial competitiveness on the global stage. “Investments in Indonesia, God willing, will increasingly add value, opening up more jobs and driving the national industry to become more competitive,” he wrote.
