Rosan summoned by Prabowo to report on first-quarter investments

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM and CEO of Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani acknowledged being summoned by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon to report on the realisation of investments in the first quarter.

“Yes, one of them might be the realisation of investments in the first quarter,” said Rosan when asked by reporters shortly after arriving at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta.

Rosan stated that the content of the discussion in the meeting would be explained further to reporters after he had delivered the report to the President.

“The discussion is what, later, I will definitely come here again,” he said briefly.

In addition to Rosan, the President also summoned the Chief Technology Officer of Danantara and President Director of PT Pindad Sigit P. Santosa, as well as Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto.

Brian mentioned that the discussion between him and President Prabowo would relate to the role of higher education institutions.

“Wait, I’ll tell you later, if it’s about higher education, definitely,” he said.

Earlier, on the same day, Prabowo also summoned the President’s Special Advisor for National Defence, TNI General (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman.

Dudung said he was ready to provide input on national and international issues, including geopolitics.

“I am the President’s advisor, of course there might be things that he asks for advice and input on. Usually, he likes to ask for advice and input from us as advisors,” said Dudung shortly after arriving at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon.
