Jakarta (ANTARA) – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani, confirmed that during the transition period the reporting of export of natural resources (SDA) to PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) remains focused on record-keeping and there has been no discussion about any margin fee. Roesan emphasised that the reporting mechanism for SDA exports during the transition is aimed at collecting data and recording transactions comprehensively to strengthen the governance of the national commodity trade in a more open and orderly manner. “The initial step is that we look at reporting first,” Rosan said in remarks after a press conference on the Macro-Economic Framework and Key Fiscal Policy for the 2027 Budget Year in Jakarta on Wednesday. He made the clarification in response to questions from reporters confirming whether there was a possibility of DSI taking a margin fee from SDA exporters. The transition period is scheduled to run from June to December 2026, with a requirement to report all export transactions to DSI to support improvements in the governance of the national commodity trade. During that period, the government has not implemented an outright purchase mechanism or the setting of a trading margin, as the system is still undergoing refinement with all concerned parties. He said the details of the new trading mechanism would be announced after the evaluation and information-gathering process has been completed during the transition period so that policy implementation can run effectively without causing misunderstanding among the public. “We will present the detailed mechanism later; not in fragments, because if it is fragmented it will be chopped up and unclear,” Rosan said.
