Rosan says PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia Set to Become a State-Owned Enterprise Next Week
KONTEKS.CO.ID - CEO Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani has said that PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) will soon become a state-owned enterprise (BUMN).
For information, since the formation of PT DSI was announced, its status has been that of a national private company.
“Next week (the status will change to a BUMN),” Rosan told reporters at the Istana complex, Jakarta, on Friday 22 May 2026.
Rosan also said a place at Danantara has already been prepared to serve as the PT DSI’s office.
“There is already an office prepared at Danantara,” he said.
Previously, a newly formed state-owned enterprise named PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia had officially been appointed as the sole exporter of Indonesia’s strategic commodities, namely palm oil to coal.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the company was formed by the Investment Minister/Head of BKPM and the CEO of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani.
“The Investment Minister/Head of BKPM has formed what is called PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia. Further details will be explained,” Airlangga said at a press conference after delivering the Macro Economic Framework and Key Fiscal Policy for the RAPBN 2027 at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday 20 May 2026.
“Over a long period, per the President’s data at the World Bank, there have been high levels of under invoicing and transfer pricing,” he said.
