Rosan Says Danantara Still Finalising Financial Report
Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani has said the process of compiling the investment management body’s financial report is still ongoing and has therefore not yet been released to the public. According to him, Danantara’s financial report differs from that of ordinary companies because it consolidates more than 1,000 enterprises. “We are consolidating over 1,000 companies, that is the first point. In accordance with the Limited Liability Company Law, for non-publicly listed companies, the financial report is due by the end of June, by mid-June,” Rosan stated at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday. Nonetheless, Rosan confirmed that all of Danantara’s financial data has been submitted to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), which is tasked with conducting the audit. He also stressed that Danantara has never been secretive about its financial report. Every time it conducts investment promotion, Rosan said, Danantara always presents financial data to prospective investors. Furthermore, Rosan emphasised that Danantara is committed to always being open and transparent regarding its financial report. “We present our data and they (prospective investors) can also see it, they can calculate and analyse the financial report we issue and report, even though it has not yet been audited by the BPK,” he explained. He added that the Danantara financial data presented on various occasions has received a positive response from prospective investors. Danantara will release its financial report after the General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) for all state-owned enterprises is completed at the end of June. Danantara’s financial report is the result of consolidation from all state-owned enterprise financial reports.
