Rosan Reveals Investment Realisation to Reach Rp497 Trillion in Early 2026
The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has revealed an estimate for investment realisation in the first quarter of 2026 at Rp497 trillion.
Investment Minister and BKPM Head Rosan Perkasa Roeslani stated that although official data will only be announced on 15 April 2026, current trends indicate that this figure will be achieved.
“With this development, God willing, the target set by the government for the first quarter can be met, namely Rp497 trillion, meaning a growth of around 7% annually,” he said at Commission XII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) in Jakarta on Monday (13/4/2026).
- Job absorption rises 5.5%
In line with this investment value achievement, Rosan stated that the number of jobs absorbed will reach 627,000 people. This means an increase in job absorption of around 5.5% compared to the previous period.
“Job absorption is also estimated to reach 627,000 people or an increase of around 5.5%,” said the former Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
- 2026 investment target of Rp2,041.3 trillion
The investment target is set at Rp2,041.3 trillion for the whole of 2026 based on the adjustment of the investment realisation target in Presidential Regulation Number 117 of 2025 regarding the government’s work plan for 2026, which has been approved by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas.
“Indeed, for 2026, the investment target is Rp2,041.3 trillion in accordance with the adjustment of the investment realisation target,” said Rosan.
- Chasing an 8% economic growth target
The investment target set by the government aims to support the 8% economic growth target as stated in the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nusantara Future Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) emphasised that ultimately the government is targeting a cumulative investment of up to Rp13,032.8 trillion.
“Indeed, in the end, the target remains Rp13,032.8 trillion,” said Rosan.
