Investment Minister and Head of BKPM, as well as CEO of the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, held a meeting with Temasek CEO, Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara. The meeting discussed strengthening the partnership between Indonesia and the Singaporean investment company, particularly in the green growth sector.

Rosan stated that the partnership with Temasek is currently exploring various strategic opportunities. The main focus is on energy transition and sustainable development.

“Together with Temasek CEO, Mr. Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, we discussed expanding cooperation in renewable energy, cross-border electricity infrastructure, and the development of low-carbon industrial zones,” Rosan wrote in a post on his Instagram account @rosanroeslani, on Friday (24/4/2026).

In the meeting, Rosan emphasised that Temasek’s investment portfolio in Indonesia will serve as a strong foundation. These investments will be directed to support future digital infrastructure, such as data centres powered by low-emission electricity.

They also discussed global geopolitical dynamics and the current economic situation. They even exchanged perspectives on investment management and best practices in energy transition.

Rosan is optimistic that this collaboration will gradually expand the scope of Temasek’s investments. From this project, Rosan mentioned it will be directed towards transformational initiatives that support the government’s agenda.

“This will strengthen downstreaming, increase export competitiveness, and create added value and jobs domestically,” Rosan explained.
