JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Danantara CEO Rosan Perkasa Roeslani stated that his entity has purchased shares in GOTO or PT Gojek Tokopedia Tbk.

Although he did not disclose the amount of shares acquired, Rosan assured that Danantara has become an investor in GOTO.

“We have started entering,” Rosan said at the Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday night (5/5/2026).

Rosan explained that the most important thing now is that Danantara has entered for the welfare of online motorcycle taxis (ojol).

He also mentioned that his side contributed to pushing for the doubling of holiday allowances for drivers during the previous Holiday Assistance (BHR) period.

He added that various policies to improve ojol welfare will continue to be pursued, in line with the President’s directives.

According to him, this improvement is also supported by Tokopedia’s performance, which has begun recording profits this quarter after previously incurring losses.

“That’s why policies can be born that improve ojol welfare,” Rosan added.

This step is linked to efforts to improve the app-based transportation ecosystem.

The government wants to reduce the cuts imposed by the platform on drivers.

Dasco stated that the cuts, which were previously around 10 to 20 percent, will be lowered to 8 percent.
