Rosan: 6,500 Export Transactions Worth IDR 249.72 Trillion Monitored by DSI
Investment Minister and Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani has revealed that the government has analysed around 6,500 export transactions through the Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) platform since June 2026. The value of the transactions analysed reached approximately US$14 billion or Rp 249.72 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of around 17,840 rupiah per US dollar).
Rosan said that DSI aims to increase transaction transparency while curbing transfer pricing practices, under-invoicing, and inaccurate data reporting.
“The objective is how we can suppress, reduce and even eliminate transfer pricing, then under-invoicing, and also incorrect, inaccurate data reporting,” Rosan said during a press conference on the Financial Note and 2027 State Budget Draft at the Directorate General of Taxes office of the Ministry of Finance on Friday (14/8/2026).
According to Rosan, the government is integrating data from various ministries and agencies into a single platform. The integration involves the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, Bank Indonesia, as well as other ministries and agencies.
With this integration, the government can monitor export transactions in greater detail, from the point of departure, quantity, to the volume of goods. The data can also be used to determine export values and tax revenues.
“So far we have analysed approximately 6,500 transactions since June. Since June there have been 6,500 transactions totalling approximately US$14 billion,” he said.
Rosan stressed that DSI does not take over export buying and selling activities. Exporters continue to conduct transactions as usual, while the government plays a role in obtaining and analysing transaction data.
On the other hand, Rosan supports the establishment of a mineral exchange to increase transparency in mineral commodity trading. According to him, the mineral exchange is expected to create open price formation that can be monitored by all parties.
“With this mineral exchange, transaction transparency will improve, so that in terms of accountability, transparency and governance it will be better,” Rosan said.
Rosan assessed that DSI and the mineral exchange have complementary functions to strengthen transparency, governance and accountability of commodity transactions and Indonesian exports.
