Romance knows no age limit

JEMBER, East Java: Romance blossoms at an old people's home in
the city, which has married five couples since 1989.

Hartoyo, chief of the Social Services office, said the
administrators simply cannot separate residents of the home who
have fallen in love.

They behave like teenagers, he said. "They will cry if
separated."

Hartoyo explained that 95 old people live in the house which
is actually designed to accommodate 90 occupants. Many of the
occupants are former vagabonds. (par)
