Target to Boost Indonesia’s Economy to 8 Per Cent
It is known that BPI Danantara was officially established as a strategic investment instrument to optimise BUMN assets while accelerating national economic growth.
Rosan Roeslani stated that the presence of Danantara is a breakthrough step believed to have a significant impact on the national economy.
According to Rosan, his appointment as CEO of Danantara is a great trust given by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
“This is a great trust with a noble goal. We hope this effort can run optimally and provide the best results for the nation,” said Rosan at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, on Monday, 24 February 2025.
Rosan explained that Danantara will focus on optimising BUMN assets as well as investments in strategic sectors that have positive, sustainable impacts, and add value to the economy.
He also emphasised that President Prabowo has directed that Danantara’s management be carried out with principles of good governance, prudence, transparency, and high integrity.
According to him, Danantara’s main strength is not merely the value of the assets managed, estimated at USD900 billion, but its role as a government instrument in driving inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
“Danantara is expected to become the driving engine to accelerate quality and dynamic national economic growth.”
