It rained hard on Sept. 11 around 5 p.m. and it was quite dark. The school children were about to go home. This was auspicious for some. Two men, disguised as people picking up their children, tricked the guard, and forced their way into IA and IB classrooms. Strangely, none of the teachers and administrative staff noticed.

The men asked some of the boys for a "contribution" of Rp. 5,000. The situation turned nasty when the girls began to raise a stink; a fight between the men and the boys ensued. Fortunately, the boys could overwhelm the criminals and take them to the headmaster's room to be dealt with.
