Robbers take Rp 200m from PLN

BOGOR: Six unidentified men broke into the office of state electricity company PLN in Sawangan subdistrict at 4 p.m. on Friday, taking away Rp 200 million (US$22,222) in cash.

Achmad Saluyo, a security officer on duty at the office, said that one of the robbers pointed a gun at him while the others took the company's safe and tied up the other employees.

Bogor Police chief of detectives Adj. Comr. Ferdy Sambo refused to comment on the incident, saying that it is still under investigation. --JP
