Roads in Depok housing complex

In Depok, an administrative town bordering the region of Bogor, traffic gridlocks have become the order of the day, especially in front of the bus terminal across from the exclusive housing complex Pesona Depok during peak hours.

The roads in this complex have been built by the developer, who strangely designed the main gate into the housing complex to be exactly across from the bus terminal.

To get to the neighboring Depok II area alone, it can take one hour since the traffic will by that time have grounded to a standstill.

I suggest that officials from the Bogor and Depok regional governments open other access roads in the housing complex for public use.

We know that these access roads will, eventually, lead to Depok II and hence ease the heavy traffic in front of the bus terminal.

The Depok administration has, in the past, announced a plan to ease the traffic by building several alternative roads but this is never realized. The existing roads have hardly been touched by the Public Works Office of Depok.
