Road Repairs: Cipayung Main Road in Depok Closed until 18 September

The Depok City Government is carrying out repairs on the Cipayung Main Road in Cipayung, Depok. This section of the road will be temporarily closed to traffic.

The closure specifically affects the stretch from the front of Green Pitara Housing to Jembatan Serong. The closure will be in effect from 27 August until 18 September 2026.

“While the work is ongoing, heavy machinery will be present, making it impossible for private and public vehicles to pass. Therefore, vehicles will be diverted via alternative routes,” said the Head of the Depok Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR), Yodi Joko Bintoro, as reported on the official Depok City Government website on Sunday (30/8/2026).

He explained that vehicles travelling from Jalan Kali Licin towards Cipayung Main Road will be directed via Jalan Mandor Ancol, Jalan Raya Gardu, Jalan Raya Keadilan, and towards Jembatan Serong. From there, vehicles can proceed along Cipayung Main Road towards Cipayung and Citayam.

“For vehicles travelling from Cipayung Main Road towards Depok, they will be directed via Jalan Jembatan Serong, Jalan Raya Keadilan, Jalan Raya Gardu, and Jalan Mandor Ancol, leading to Jalan Raya Kali Licin and the UKI intersection towards Depok,” he added.

Yodi stated that several road markings and directional signs have been prepared at the site. He apologised for the temporary road closure.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. This work is being carried out for the common good,” he said.
