Traffic flow in the Lenteng Agung area, South Jakarta, has been diverted following a road collapse on Jalan Lenteng Agung Raya near Gang Empang or in front of Alpino Knalpot workshop.

To anticipate subsequent congestion, the police and DKI Jakarta’s Transport Agency (Dishub) have prepared alternative routes for drivers heading towards Depok and Kelapa Dua.

Vehicles are directed to pass through residential areas via Jalan Gardu, then to Jalan H. Shibi IV, followed by Jalan H. Shibi II, then Jalan H. Shibi before exiting near the University of Indonesia (UI) access point.

Drivers are advised to make a U-turn at the Universitas Pancasila railway crossing, proceed to Jalan Lenteng Agung Barat, enter Jalan Kahfi 2, pass through Jalan Tanah Baru, and emerge towards Depok or Sawangan.

“Large vehicles are urged to use alternative routes. Vehicles heading to Depok should avoid Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung for now,” said Benny at the scene on Friday (29 May 2026).

To prevent severe congestion on arterial roads, heavy vehicles and trucks are prohibited from passing through the affected area and are immediately rerouted from upstream points.

Road users are advised to avoid the Lenteng Agung Raya area temporarily and adjust departure times to anticipate potential traffic congestion during the road collapse repair process.
