RMA Indonesia Reveals Price of Mahindra Scorpio Pikup
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The ordering of tens of thousands of Mahindra pickup trucks by PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara has drawn attention in the national automotive industry. The vehicles were ordered directly from the principal in India to support the Koperasi Desa Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) program. In a formal statement from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., it said the order was for around 35,000 units placed by PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, a state-owned enterprise (BUMN). The Mahindra Scorpio Pikup itself is not a new model in the domestic market. It was first introduced in Indonesia in 2019 with single cabin and double cabin variants. When first launched in 2019, the single cabin model was priced at around Rp 278 million, while the double cabin was around Rp 318 million. However, the price of the Mahindra Scorpio imported for the Koperasi Merah Putih is not known. “At RMA, it is now Rp 315 million. If that is (Agrinas) then directly (to Mahindra India),” Wilda told reporters when approached in Jakarta, on Thursday (5/3/2026). However, Wilda declined to say how much Agrinas paid Mahindra India, as she said she did not know the bottom price obtained from the deal.
