Ritz Carlton Bali opens

JAKARTA (JP): Ritz Carlton Bali, one of the newest, luxury hotels in Bali, will open most of its rooms for business today.

Hotel spokesperson Nike Kurnia told The Jakarta Post yesterday the launch would occur a month ahead of schedule.

The 323-room Ritz Carlton Bali is on a 70-hectare plot in Jimbaran, southern Bali, she said.

"We will offer just 80 percent of our total rooms during the soft operation until March 31 next year," she said, adding that guests could enjoy cheaper rates during the period.

The four-story Ritz Carlton Bali is owned by PT Karang Mas Sejahtera, a private firm controlled by Rudy Suliawan.
