Rismon Sianipar Pledges to Publish New Book Containing Jokowi's Authentic Diploma
Digital forensics expert Rismon Sianipar will publish a book that serves as an antithesis to his previous works “Jokowi’s White Paper” and “Gibran End Game” to clarify his earlier research which raised doubts about the authenticity of the diploma of Indonesia’s seventh President, Joko Widodo.
He conveyed this statement following a meeting with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to offer a direct apology. The closed-door meeting between Rismon and Gibran lasted approximately 45 minutes at the Vice Presidential Palace on Friday, 13 March 2026.
“I did tell the Vice President that I will write corrections to my incomplete research: Jokowi’s White Paper and Gibran End Game. And I asked permission to complete it in my hometown in Balige. I will publish it,” he said.
He added that writing the book would take at least six months, with the expectation that it could be published later this year.
Speaking to journalists, Rismon acknowledged that he has discovered facts regarding the authenticity of Jokowi’s diploma, specifically noting the presence of watermarks and emboss features and other characteristics in the document that demonstrate consistency when compared to photographs of Jokowi’s diploma previously uploaded by PSI party member Dian Sandi Utama.
“I want to convey three main points: the emboss is in the bottom left corner, the watermark is present, and these features are consistent with what was uploaded by Dian Sandi Utama. Do not say it does not exist; it pains me,” Rismon said.
Meanwhile, Gibran, wearing a dark blue jacket and white shirt, was seen accompanying Rismon out of the Vice Presidential Palace office. He briefly conversed with and shook hands with Rismon.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you. The main thing is that we are brothers. That’s it, there is nothing more,” Gibran said whilst embracing Rismon.
Rismon was previously a suspect in allegations of a forged diploma of Indonesia’s seventh President, Joko Widodo. He subsequently issued an apology and clarification through his Balige Academy YouTube channel, uploaded on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
