Rismon Sianipar Claims SP3 in Jokowi's Diploma Case is Final
Rismon Sianipar’s side claims that the Surat Perintah Penghentian Penyidikan (SP3) in the case alleging the fake diploma of Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), has entered the finalisation stage.
This was stated by Rismon’s legal counsel, Jahmada Girsang, while accompanying his client to Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Wednesday (15/4).
“Today is the finalisation of the SP3. Once again, I say, finalisation of the SP3. That means it’s final,” Jahmada told reporters.
Jahmada mentioned that the Director of Reskrimum at Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Iman Imanuddin, will officially announce the issuance of the SP3 tomorrow, Thursday (16/4).
“Because the director has a very important task, the director can’t release it today. But essentially, we can say everything is done. We just don’t want to read out the contents yet; it’s clearly final. But to finalise it definitively in legal terms, the director will release it tomorrow,” he explained.
Furthermore, Jahmada said that the restorative justice (RJ) process submitted by Rismon on 3 March has been carried out in accordance with legal mechanisms.
“All the journey was undertaken according to legal procedures. In line with the new Article 79 of the KUHAP and the new Article 83 of the KUHAP, we didn’t skip anything,” he stated.
On Wednesday (1/4), Rismon was known to have visited Metro Jaya Police Headquarters to sign the Restorative Justice (RJ) agreement with the complainant’s side.
Rismon’s visit occurred after he met with Jokowi in Solo on Thursday (12/3) and Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Friday (13/3).
Rismon emphasised that the RJ process was carried out without pressure from any party. He stated that this was purely the result of the latest research findings regarding the authenticity of Jokowi’s diploma.
“Today, the RJ process without any coercion or intervention from any party—I told it to my lawyer Jahmada Girsang, then it was processed at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters,” Rismon told reporters.
“So there’s no influence from anyone; it’s purely from my new research that involves variables like geometry, lighting, and resolution variables,” he added.
