RI's foreign debts at $130.15b

JAKARTA: Indonesia's total offshore debts stood at $130.15
billion as of May 31, little changed from April, Bank Indonesia
said Wednesday.

It added that $75.92 billion were owed by the government,
while the remaining $54.23 billion by local companies.

The central bank has said total offshore debt maturing this
year will reach $18.5 billion. But it remains unclear if all of
the maturing debts will be serviced as some companies are still
trying to roll over the maturities. -- Dow Jones
