We refer to the business article titled "Sinar Mas already paid
40% of May riot victims' claims" of Sept. 18. It states in the
article that "...Sinar Mas is the first company to publicly
announce it has paid insurance claims to riot victims after four
months of uncertainty..."

Actually, PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia had already
started paying claims to our clients in June 1998, as you can
refer to an article in The Indonesian Observer, July 1, 1998, and
another article in Bisnis Indonesia, July 2, 1998.
