Rights team visits Aceh

JAKARTA: An investigation team from the National Commission on
Human Rights (Komnas HAM) is currently visiting Langsa, East Aceh
regency, Aceh, to gather information about the massacre of 31
civilians at the PT Bumi Flore plantation, Bandar Alam district,
East Aceh on July 9 last year.

Team member B.N. Marbun refused to comment on the mission to
Aceh, saying that it had not been completed yet.

"We will give you more information later, we have not
completed our mission," Marbun was quoted by Antara as saying.

Marbun is accompanied by fellow commission member Salim.

"I came here just to get input, and on Monday I will return to
Jakarta," Marbun said. -- Antara
