Rieke Pitaloka to Oversee Abuse Case Involving Ex-Wife of Andre Taulany's Domestic Worker
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Member of Commission XIII of the House of Representatives, Rieke Diah Pitaloka, has expressed her commitment to following the case of alleged assault committed by the former wife of celebrity Andre Taulany, Rien Wartia Trigina, commonly known as Erin, against a domestic worker (ART) named Herawati in the Bintaro area of South Jakarta.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to the police, particularly the South Jakarta Police Resort and the Women and Children Protection Directorate, who have responded quite well from the outset of the case involving alleged violence against the domestic worker Hera,” Rieke told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police Resort on Thursday.
Rieke commended the work of the South Jakarta Metro Police in accompanying and supporting the victim to undergo a medical examination.
She acknowledged that her visit to the South Jakarta Metro Police Resort was to attend the victim’s first questioning as the complainant, and the founder of the foundation as a witness.
Rieke affirmed her commitment to follow the assault case involving the housemaid of Andre Taulany’s former wife through to completion.
“On 14 May, the legal counsel together with Herawati and also Kak Nia came to see me directly to seek assistance. Today, she will also be accompanied by the Witness and Victim Protection Agency,” said Rieke.
She also stated that she would continue to follow the applicable legal process, including any efforts towards a settlement.
“We have brought the earlier evidence, including the results of the medical examination and several photographs,” said Deolipa.
As is widely known, in early May 2026, Hera, the domestic worker, also known as Herawati, reported her former employer, Rien Wartia Trigina alias Erin, the former wife of Andre Taulany, to the South Jakarta Metro Police Resort over alleged assault.
The alleged assault case involving Erin’s former domestic worker has now advanced to the investigation stage.
