Ridwan Kamil's Personal Assistant Questioned by KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the personal assistant to former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Randy Kusumaatmadja, on Monday (14/09/2026).

Randy was questioned as a witness regarding an alleged corruption case involving advertising procurement at the West Java and Banten Regional Development Bank (Bank BJB). KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the examination pertained to transactions found in the witness’s bank account. “Investigators are confirming transactions within the account,” he said.

In addition to Ridwan Kamil’s assistant, the KPK also examined two other witnesses: Befiboi Rizqi Nurkanda, an official at PT Tjuan Pakar Runding and former honorary staff member for the West Java Governor’s household, and Wena Natasha Olivia, a housewife. The KPK confirmed that all witnesses scheduled for examination were present.

In the Bank BJB corruption case, KPK investigators had previously named five suspects on 13 March 2025. These include the President Director of Bank BJB, Yuddy Renaldi (YR), and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) who also serves as the Head of the Corporate Secretary Division at Bank BJB, Widi Hartoto (WH).

Furthermore, the suspects include the controllers of several advertising agencies: Ikin Asikin Dulmanan (IAD) of Antedja Muliatama and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri; Suhendrik (SUH) of BSC Advertising and Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspress; and Sophan Jaya Kusuma (SJK) of Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama. Investigators estimate the state losses in the Bank BJB corruption case to be approximately Rp222 billion.

On 10 March 2025, the KPK conducted a search of Ridwan Kamil’s residence as part of the investigation into the Bank BJB case, seizing motorcycles and cars during the raid. On 2 December 2025, Ridwan Kamil appeared before the KPK to provide testimony as a witness in the same case.
