PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is implementing a special fare of Rp 243 for customers using the Jakarta MRT service on Tuesday (24/3/2026). This policy is being applied to commemorate MRT Day 2026. “The implementation of this special fare is a form of appreciation to the public as well as an effort to encourage increased use of safe, comfortable, and integrated public transportation in Jakarta,” said Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Rendy Primartantyo, quoted from an official statement, Tuesday (24/03/2026). The promotion is valid specifically on 24 March 2026 for ticket purchases through the MyMRTJ app using payment methods from designated partners, namely Kredivo, blu by BCA Digital, and GoPay. Each user can enjoy the promotion only once during the programme period. MRT Day is commemorated every 24 March, coinciding with the operational start of the Jakarta MRT service since 2019. This commemoration serves as a reflection on the role of MRT Jakarta in supporting safe, comfortable, and sustainable urban mobility. For this year’s commemoration, MRT Jakarta is also presenting a series of programmes running from 24 March to 24 April 2026. As the highlight, MRT Jakarta will hold the MRT Day 2026 Festival, open to the public, on 24-25 April 2026. This series of commemorations is also part of the ‘Melaju Menyatukan Masa Depan Kota’ campaign, which reflects MRT Jakarta’s commitment to connecting spaces, communities, and the city’s future.
