Rice Prices Fall Alongside Onions, Chillies and Beef — Full List

Jakarta, VIVA – The National Food Agency (Bapanas) has reported that the price of premium rice stands at Rp 15,422 per kilogramme, a decline of Rp 237 per kg, whilst medium-grade rice is priced at Rp 13,282 per kg, down Rp 86 per kg.

Meanwhile, government-subsidised rice (SPHP) is recorded at Rp 12,382 per kg, a drop of Rp 66 per kg, and local specialty rice at Rp 15,721 per kg, down Rp 23 from the previous day.

The price of maize at the farm-gate level stands at Rp 6,602 per kg, a decline of Rp 337 from the previous day, whilst imported dried soybean is priced at Rp 10,765 per kg, down Rp 158.

Shallots are recorded at Rp 40,033 per kg, a fall of Rp 2,590, and garlic bulbs at Rp 38,017 per kg, down Rp 1,470 from the previous day.

Curly red chillies are priced at Rp 43,646 per kg, a drop of Rp 2,951; large red chillies at Rp 39,388 per kg, down Rp 3,832; and red bird’s eye chillies at Rp 75,121 per kg, a decline of Rp 1,115 from the previous day.

Pure beef is recorded at Rp 139,267 per kg, down Rp 851; broiler chicken at Rp 40,836 per kg, a fall of Rp 751; and broiler eggs at Rp 30,978 per kg, down Rp 360 from the previous day.

Consumption sugar is priced at Rp 18,076 per kg, a decline of Rp 204, and consumption salt at Rp 11,113 per kg, down Rp 461 from the previous day.

Packaged cooking oil stands at Rp 20,745 per litre, a drop of Rp 502; bulk cooking oil at Rp 17,537 per litre, down Rp 253; and Minyakita branded oil at Rp 16,885 per litre, a decline of Rp 282 from the previous day.

Bulk wheat flour is recorded at Rp 9,360 per kg, down Rp 389, and packaged wheat flour at Rp 12,529 per kg, a fall of Rp 494 from the previous day.

Indian mackerel is priced at Rp 46,026 per kg, a drop of Rp 69; skipjack tuna at Rp 37,511 per kg, down Rp 492; and milkfish at Rp 36,881 per kg, a decline of Rp 895 from the previous day.
