Bank Indonesia (BI), through its National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), reported that the price of lower quality I rice rose by Rp 50 to Rp 14,750 per kg, while lower quality II rice fell by Rp 100 to Rp 14,550 per kg. The price of large red chillies fell by Rp 1,000 to Rp 47,650 per kg, and curly red chillies dropped by Rp 1,200 to Rp 46,050 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of green bird’s eye chillies rose by Rp 150 to Rp 52,500 per kg, and red bird’s eye chillies fell by Rp 3,450 to Rp 54,700 per kg. The price of quality I beef rose by Rp 350 to Rp 150,850 per kg, while quality II beef fell by Rp 450 to Rp 141,900 per kg. For other commodities, the price of premium granulated sugar fell by Rp 100 to Rp 20,300 per kg, and local granulated sugar remained stagnant at Rp 19,100 per kg. Lastly, the price of bulk cooking oil rose by Rp 50 to Rp 20,550 per litre, branded cooking oil I fell by Rp 100 to Rp 24,200 per litre, and branded cooking oil II remained stagnant at Rp 23,450 per litre.
