Rice, Egg and Chicken Meat Prices Fall in Tandem, Check the Full List

The Bank Indonesia National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS) reported that the price of lower-grade I rice rose by Rp150 to Rp15,000 per kg, while lower-grade II rice fell by Rp100 to Rp14,550 per kg. Medium-grade I rice fell by Rp450 to Rp16,000 per kg, and medium-grade II rice fell by Rp500 to Rp15,800 per kg. Super-grade I rice fell by Rp750 to Rp17,000 per kg, and super-grade II rice fell by Rp650 to Rp16,550 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price of medium-sized shallots fell by Rp2,250 to Rp37,150 per kg, and medium-sized garlic also fell by Rp750 to Rp39,750 per kg. The price of purebred chicken eggs fell by Rp2,100 to Rp27,300 per kg, and fresh chicken meat also fell by Rp1,650 to Rp39,600 per kg.

Large red chillies rose by Rp200 to Rp49,500 per kg, while curly red chillies fell by Rp3,700 to Rp47,300 per kg. Green bird’s eye chillies fell by Rp2,100 to Rp52,800 per kg, and red bird’s eye chillies rose by Rp1,550 to Rp63,750 per kg.

Grade I beef fell by Rp3,450 to Rp147,950 per kg, while grade II beef rose by Rp450 to Rp142,800 per kg. Premium granulated sugar rose by Rp250 to Rp20,550 per kg, and local granulated sugar fell by Rp150 to Rp18,900 per kg.

Finally, bulk cooking oil fell by Rp250 to Rp20,200 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I fell by Rp1,000 to Rp23,250 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II also fell by Rp400 to Rp23,150 per litre.
