Riau Police 'JALUR' Expedition Distributes Social Aid in Remote Village Ahead of Bhayangkara Day

The Riau Regional Police (Polda Riau) continues to demonstrate its spirit of public service in commemorating the 80th Bhayangkara Day. Through the second phase of the JALUR Expedition (Jelajah Riau untuk Rakyat), personnel penetrated remote areas in Kampar Kiri Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The activity, centred in Dua Sepakat Village, included village visits, social service, and free healthcare for residents who have long faced limited access to public services. The expedition team, led by personnel from the Directorate of Community Development (Ditbinmas) and the Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) of Polda Riau, was enthusiastically welcomed by locals. Sixty residents of Dua Sepakat Village received social aid and complimentary health check-ups. Head of the Community Policing Sub-directorate of Ditbinmas Polda Riau, AKBP Bainar, stated that this activity is a tangible manifestation of the National Police’s presence within the community, especially in hard-to-reach remote areas. “Through this JALUR Expedition, we want to ensure that police services can be felt by all citizens without exception. The momentum of the 80th Bhayangkara Day serves as a reminder for us to continue being present, serving, and assisting the community, even in the most remote regions,” said Bainar on Wednesday (24/6/2026). He added that besides providing social aid and health services, the activity also serves as a means to strengthen the emotional bond between the police and the community. “We hope the established ties will grow even stronger. The police are not only present when there are problems, but also to bring benefits and solutions to the community,” he added. The arrival of the JALUR Expedition group received a warm reception from residents. Yani, a resident of Dua Sepakat Village, expressed gratitude for the attention given by Polda Riau to the people in her village. “We are very happy and thankful. It is rare for activities like this to come directly to our village. The aid and health check-ups are very helpful for the community,” she said. Similar sentiments were shared by Yusri, another resident. He felt the activity demonstrated the police’s concern for people living far from urban centres. “We feel cared for. Hopefully, activities like this will continue because the benefits are immense for villagers,” he said. The JALUR Expedition programme is one of a series of social activities by Polda Riau to welcome the 80th Bhayangkara Day. Through this humanitarian mission, the National Police not only delivers social aid and health services but also reinforces closeness with the community as partners in maintaining security and order.
